    • Newspaper Article - Wednesday, October 17, 1894 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - New Centerville - A Pleasant Wedding - A pleasant company assembled at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Lane last Wednesday afternoon, October 10, to witness the marriage of their daughter, Lizzie, a most estimable young lady, to Dexter M. Lilley, a well-known and highly respected young man of Pulaski. At precisely 2 o'clock the bridal party was ushered into the room, Miss Bertha Hough as bridesmaid and Gilbert Lane as groomsman. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. D. Webster; pastor of the M. E. church of Pulaski, beneath a beautiful arch, from the top of which hung suspended a superb floral bell. A bank of potted flowers filled in the background, which produced a most pleasing effect. After the ceremony and congratulations, refreshments were served, which proved to be a source of pleasure to the senses, in more ways than one, as all appeared to be in a happy mood. The presents were numerous, and show the high esteem in which they were held by their relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lilley took the 4:10 train at Richland for a short bridle tour via Syracuse and other towns. Their many friends wish them a long, happy and prosperous life.
