Donald R. Johnson - November 17, 1926 - September 1, 1983. Son of Raymond and Bertha Jennings Johnson. Husband of Leta Champion & Patricia Bulger Johnson.
Newspaper Obituary - (date and newspaper unavailable) - Donald R. Johnson, 56., of RD 2, North Road, Pulaski, died late Wednesday at his home. He was born November 17, 1926, son of Ray and Bertha Jennings Johnson. He graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School. He served with the United States Navy during World War II. He married Leta Champion, July 30, 1949. She died September 3, 1973, and he wed Patricia Bulger on July 7, 1978. He was employed by the Pulaski Democrat and later by BOCES until his death. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife, Patricia, are three sons, Michael D., Jeffrey R., and Bruce E., all of Pulaski; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Patrick (Johanna Dee) Frederber of Ely, Minnesota, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson of Pulaski; a brother, Charles Johnson of Pulaski; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, the Rev. Earl M. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park Street, Pulaski. Contributions may be made to the Donald R Johnson Memorial Awards, Oswego County BOCES, Mexico.
