- Newspaper Obituary - Monday, November 29, 1993 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Francis B. Geer, Ex-Bank Employee, Dies - Francis B. Geer, 79, of 7375 Lincoln Ave., retired employee of Lincoln Bank, died Saturday at St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Clay Berry officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be conducted at 8 Tuesday evening. Contributions may be made Northern Oswego County Ambulance, Delano Street. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy E.; a son, Dr. James F., Endicott; a daughter, Ruth Pederson, Rome, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was born May 12, 1914, in Maple View, a son of Ray and Ruth Patterson Geer. He was a 1932 graduate of Central Square High School and a 1934 graduate of Central City Business Institute, Syracuse_ Mr. Geer lived in Pulaski for the past 60 years. He was employed by Lincoln Bank for 28 years, retiring in 1976. He also worked for the Metropolitan Insurance Co., Sherwin Williams Paint Co. and the Pulaski Democrat. He married Dorothy E. Wilder June 21, 1938, at the home of her parents in Pulaski Mr. Geer was a member and past master of Pulaski Masonic Lodge 315, and a former dispatcher for Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
