    • John Michael Doyle, the third John in a line, was raised in Oswego. Graduating from Oswego High in 1957 he entered the National Guard unit there. After 2 years service Jack joined the Oswego Police Department in 1959, serving three years. In 1962 he was appointed to the New York State Police. As a State Policeman Jack wasl widely known and remembered. Advancing in the ranks of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) to the rank of Senior Investigator in Charge of the Pulaski station's unit, Doyle career spanned 32 years. Jack's interest in Drug Interdiction led him to seek closer working relations with other Law Enforcement agencies in New York and abroad. As Hostage Negotiator for the region he ended several sensitive stand offs all without a loss of life. In the mid 1970s Jack together with other Pulaski friends spearheaded the development of the Pulaski Community Center known as the Snow Belt Community Center. In October 1994 Jack was left paralyzed from the waist down following a car accident on Interstate 81. Following hospitalization he returned home for Christmas and began physical therapy. He retired from the State Police on December 14, 1994 and was feted by over 550 people at a retirement dinner in Liverpool the following May. In 1996 Jack began work with the Oswego County District Attorney's Office as a case Investigator. Jack serves as Historian for Troop "D" and still keeps ties with the State Police. Married to Patsy Seeley of Pulaski in 1964, Jack and Patsy lived next to the State Police barracks at 7378 Salina St. in Pulaski for 3 years. In 1967 they moved to 7800 Richland Rd. In February 1972 the family moved again to 7695 (later known as 4959) North Jefferson St. in the village of Pulaski. There in a cosy neighborhood known as "Mole Knoll" Jack, and Patsy raised their family. This house "Shamrock Hill" was top be "home " for 25 years. On October 6th 1997 the Doyle's moved to 33 Perry Hill Rd in the town of Oswego, closer to the roots of Jack's family.
