      Deceased Name: WILLIAM C. WEST
      William C. West, 65, of Dutch Hill Road died Thursday at his home after a long illness.

      Mr. West was a native of Central Square. He owned Central Square Sales for 10 years and worked for several years for D.W. Winkleman Construction Co. and Operating Engineers Union 545.

      Mr. West was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He received the Bronze and Silver Stars.

      Surviving are three sons, William H., David and Charles, all of West Monroe; a daughter, Sandra Harrington of Constantia; a brother, Ernest of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Monroe Cemetery.

      Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St., Central Square.

      Contributions may be made to any missing child foundation.
