      Arnold E. West Sr., 41, of 8665 Plainville Road in Baldwinsville died Friday in Scottsdale Memorial Hospital, Scottsdale, Ariz.

      Born in Schenectady, Mr. West lived in Baldwinsville most of his life.

      He was employed as a roofer in Scottsdale, Ariz.

      Surviving are his wife, Sue; three sons, Theron West of Baldwinsville and Arnold West Jr. and Richard Galvin, both of Syracuse; two step-sons, Harry Visneau III and Lance Devaul, both of Syracuse; his mother, Betty West of Baldwinsville; his step-father, Nedd Ellis Sr. of Baldwinsville; his grandmother, Minnie Ellis of California.

      Also surviving, one step daughter, Lynda Visneau of Syracuse; one daughter, Gidget West of Brewerton; five brothers, Donald West, Nedd Ellis and Kevin Ellis, all of Baldwinsville, Ronald West of Pulaski and Mitchell Ellis of Missouri; three sisters, Desiree Reitz of Baldwinsville, Sheila West of Arkansas, Constance Allgaria of Kansas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

      Services will be private.

      Spring burial will be in Plainville Cemetery.

      There will be no calling hours.
