Newspaper Obituary - Friday, December 29, 1939 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico, December 29 - Edward McFee, 74, died at his home on the Scenic highway, three miles north of Mexico, early Friday morning. He was born at Pulaski, his parents dying when he was an infant. He had resided in the Town of Mexico for the past 50 years where he was engaged in farming. He was a member of the North Mexico Methodist church, and of Texas Grange. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Ripsom McFee, three sons, Harold, Leon, and Curtis McFee all of Mexico; a daughter, Mrs. William Irwin; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Kane of Rochester; and a brother, William McFee of Mexico. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending the return of a son, Harold, from Florida, where he is spending the winter.
Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, December 30, 1939 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico, December 30 - Funeral services for Edward McFee, 74, who died at his home on the Scenic highway, three miles north of this village Friday, will be conducted by the Rev. Harold H. Barnard, pastor of North Mexico church, at the late home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Bearers will be Arthur Fleming, Clarence Morton, Percy Rose, Clifford Lodge, Charles Mowry and Elmer Southworth.
