    • John C. Lacelle, Sr., age 71, life resident of Altmar, passed away Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. John was born December 27, 1943 in Richland, the son of Clyde and Lillian Spar Lacelle. He attended Pulaski Schools. John married Louise Oakes on December 9, 1962. He was employed by Fulton Companies for 30 years as an electrician, retiring in 2001, and he had previously been employed by Allied Van Lines. John was a member of the NRA and the North American Hunting Club. Surviving are his wife, Louise; one daughter, Connie (Irving) Grandjean of Rodman; one son, John (Nichole) Lacelle of Altmar; two brothers, Thomas Lacelle of Pulaski and Robert Lacelle of Camden; four sisters, Barb Nutting of Pulaski, Joan Jones of Sandy Creek, Fern Lester of Orwell and Rosie Boak of Pulaski; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 23, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with a spring burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
