    • Rites Friday For Mrs. Ada Clemens At Orwell Home

      Mrs. Ada Coral Clemens, 82, widow of George E. Clemens, died at her home in Orwell Tuesday morning following an illness of some time.

      Funeral services will be held from the late home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wesley Baker, pastor, of the Orwell Union Church, officiating. The Orwell Rebekah Lodge will also conduct services at this time.

      Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell.

      She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Ruby) Aloan of Redfield, and a son, Earl S. Clemens of Pulaski; a sister, Miss Belle Thomas and a brother, Foster Thomas, both of Orwell; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

      Mrs. Clemens was born in Orwell a daughter of George D. and Alice Towsley Thomas and spent her early girlhood in Orwell. After her marriage to Mr. Clemens in 1891 she went to Redfield to live, returning to Orwell in 1896 where she has made her home since. Mr. Clemens died in September 1931.

      She was a member of Orwell Union Church, a past Noble Grand of Orwell Rebekah Lodge, No. 236, and a Past District Deputy of the Oswego District, No. 2 member of the Willing Workers class and of the Woman's Home Missionary society.
