Newspaper Obituary - Monday, November 28, 1927 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, November 28 - Arthur Hilton, 47, lifelong resident of this locality, died at his home, 34 Rome street, Sunday afternoon at 3:45. He had been in poor health for the last three weeks, but had been confined by illness only one week. Arthur Hilton was born in Orwell, March 3, 1879. He made his home in this village for a number of years, where he was employed by the New York Central railroad. Mr. Hilton was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church here. Besides his wife, Mr. Hilton leaves three daughters, Mrs. Nelson Peters, Pulaski; Mrs. Roy Hinebauch, Oswego; and Mrs. Arden Walter, Pulaski; two sons, Elton and Donald Hilton, Pulaski; three brothers, William and Leonard, Pulaski, and Herbert of Lacona. Funeral services will be held at the family home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Charles Bollinger, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate. Paul K. Foster will be in charge. The bearers will be the three brothers of Mr. Hilton and Nelson Peters, Roy Hinebauch and Arden Walter, his sons-in-law.
