Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 26, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. T. R. Ingersoll - Janette Wells, wife of Thomas R. Ingersoll, died suddenly, Wednesday afternoon at her home in Jefferson Avenue. Her sickness was of short duration and her death the complete surprise as she was sitting in a chair when the close of life came. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. J. B. Felt officiating. Miss L. Grace Henderson rendered a solo. Friends from out of town to attend the funeral were Mrs. James Thompson, of Watertown, Miss Clara Wells of Limeric, Mrs. C. W. Bentley of Pierrepont Manor, Mrs. S. T. Dibble and son, Fulton. Mrs. Ingersoll was born at Three Mile Bay sixty-seven years ago and was united in marriage with Thomas R. Ingersoll, forty-four years ago last December. She has been a resident of this village since her marriage. She is survived by a husband, one daughter, Mrs. Frank C. Woods and two sisters, Miss Charlotte Wells and Mrs. Charles Bentley.
