      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, February 19, 1937 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, February 19 - Mrs. Anna L. Delong, 72, widow of Jasper Delong, died Thursday afternoon at her home in Fernwood. She had spent most of her life in this vicinity. Mrs. Delong was born in Canada June 17, 1864, daughter of the late Napoleon and Katherine Forsythe LaVere. She came to Oswego county when a young girl. Mrs. Delong was a member of Fernwood Methodist church and was well known in Fernwood and Sandy Creek. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ella Manwarren and Mrs. Stella Frank, both of Fernwood; one son, Frederick Delong, Mattydale, and three brothers, Alva Lavere of Altmar, Rev. Herbert Lavere of Hadley and Herbert Lavere of Oswego. Funeral services will be at the home Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in Willis cemetery.
