      Jesse E. White, 86, of 377 Canning Factory Road, died Friday in St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego.

      Mr. White owned and operated a dairy farm for 60 years, retiring in 1985. He was a lifelong resident of Pulaski.

      Born July 21, 1917, in Pulaski, son of George and Elizabeth Shafty White, he graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1936.

      He married Beula Shirley on April 9, 1944, in the parsonage of Pulaski Methodist Church with the Rev. W.A. Gardner officiating.

      Surviving besides his wife are a son, Donald J., Turbotville, Pa.; a daughter, Jean W. Rautio, Phoenix, and four grandchildren.

      The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
