Sharon A. Sampson, 62, of 120 Bridge St., died Tuesday at her home.
Mrs. Sampson was a janitor for Pulaski Academy and Central School for six years, retiring in 1995.
She was a lifelong resident of Altmar and a member of Richland Church of Christ.
Born Sept. 12, 1940, in the town of Albion, daughter of William and Arlene Trumble, she attended Altmar schools.
A marriage to Kenneth Dupont ended in divorce.
She married William A. Sampson on Aug. 25, 1984. He died Sept. 12, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Ronald Dupont, both of Altmar; two daughters, Tina Thurston, Altmar, and Tammy Henry, Orwell; five stepsons, Kenneth and Frank Sampson, both of Ogdensburg, Mark Sampson, Altmar, Scott Sampson, Williamstown, and Glenn Sampson, Natural Bridge; six sisters, Jean Baird, Mattydale, Pauline Haynes, Orwell, Beulah Yerdon, Sandy Creek, and June Bice, Jane Trumble and Charlene Wells, all of Altmar; five brothers, John, David and Frank Trumble, all of Altmar, George Trumble, Sandy Creek, and Harry Trumble, Orwell, 27 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Gary Dupont, died Aug. 29, 2001.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Paul Windhausen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
