Hazel B. Coffin, 83, Jackson Road, died Saturday evening in Harrwood Nursing Home, Oswego.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Calling hours were scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by a son, Paul Squires, Fulton; two daughters, Norma Coffin, Lacona, and Jolene LaCelle, Pulaski; a stepson, William F. Coffin, Tully; two stepdaughters, Gladys Figary, Fulton, and Eva Cooley, Manlius; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Born Oct. 8, 1907, in the town of Orwell, daughter of Abner and Mary Hanley Squires, she attended Sandy Creek district schools and was a lifetime resident of the Orwell-Sandy Creek area.
She married Ernest L. Coffin May 24, 1958. She had been married previously. Mr. Coffin died April 2, 1979.
Mrs. Coffin was last employed by the Oswego County Sanitarium, Orwell, for several years until it closed. She also had worked at the Ideal Rest Home, Orwell, and the Thomas House, Sandy Creek.
