    • Cathy L. Newcomb, age 61, life resident of Pulaski passed away Saturday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse after a long battle with cancer. Cathy was born June 23, 1953 in Syracuse, the daughter of Raymond and Sylvia Secor Brennan. She attended Pulaski Central Schools. Cathy married Ronald Newcomb on December 18, 1971. She owned and operated the Hometown Diner in Pulaski for the past 15 years. She was a former member of the Republican Committee Women. Cathy enjoyed walking, skiing, spending time with her family and her three puppies, Emmie, Lois Lynn and Lilly.

      Surviving are her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Tina (Larry) Gallo of Watertown, Carly Sperati and her companion, Jamie Foster of Sherrill; six sisters, Sharon Crosby, Sheila Wallace, Victoria Dailey, Elaine Sartin, Sylvia Krupke, and Jacqueline McGill; one brother, Raymond Brennan; special sister-in-law, Debra Goodnough; special friend, Brenda Mowers; five grandchildren, Justin (wife Jennifer), Alexa, Riley, Ryan and Luca.

      Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with a spring burial in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Cathy and Ron would like to thank everyone for all the donations to the Gofundme on their behalf. Cathy did not have the opportunity to thank everyone individually as she had planned to do, but it was greatly appreciated and they love each and every one of you!
