- Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 18, 1931 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Addle Dunbar, 77 - Mrs. Adelle Dunbar. 77, widow of Maurice Dunbar, died at the home of Mrs. Anna DeWolfe Thursday evening February 12. She had been cared for at the DeWolfe home during her illness this winter. Mrs. Dunbar suffered a fractured hip as a result of a fall in April, 1930. She was removed to the Ideal Rest hospital at Orwell for treatment following which she spent the remainder of last summer with her niece, Mrs. Herman Pratt, Lacona. Mrs. Dunbar was born in Fernwood in May, 1853, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Perry and spent practically all her life, until her recent illness, in Femwood. During her residence in that village she was active in the affairs of the Methodist Episcopal church and was treasurer of that institution for 14 years. She also took great interest in the Ladies Aid society of the church and was a member of South Richland Grange. She is survived by two nieces. Mrs. Herman Pratt of Lacona and Mrs. Walter Weeden of Fernwood, and three nephews, Fred Rich and Ernest Perry of Fernwood and Jesse Burdick of Pulaski. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of Fred B. Rich, Fernwood. with the Rev. Arthur T. Gould, pastor of the Fernwood Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
