Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 11, 1899 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Isaac Price Douglass died of pneumonia, Saturday morning, January 7, at the old homestead on Port street. He is survived by a widow, Martha J. Douglass, one daughter, Mrs. H. A. Moody and a little granddaughter of Brooklyn, New York, a brother Rufus G. Douglass of Nebraska, and a sister, Josephine A. Smith of Buffalo, New York. He was born June 29th, 1834, on the old homestead where he has lived all his life.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 11, 1899 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Died Without a Physician - Pulaski, January 9 - Isaac N. Douglas, a well-known farmer of this town, aged 62 years, died on Saturday morning after a short illness with grippe which terminated in pneumonia. No regular physician was employed, as he trusted in the services of a so-called clairvoyant. Much indignation is felt in town, and a Coroner's inquest has been talked of as well as possible criminal proceedings. -Correspondent, Oswego Palladium.
