W. Seamans, in this village, Wednesday, June 10th, at 5 p.m., to witness the nuptials of Henry W. Parker, of Syracuse, and Miss M. Ritta Seamans, youngest daughter of the parties named. Miss Carrie Allen presided at the organ, soon the groomsman, Mr. J. G. Caldwell, of Watertown, and the bridesmaid, Miss Minnie Seamans, sister of the bride, appearing, led the way followed by the bride and groom. The bridal party stood beneath a bell of flowers while the words that made the young people husband and wife were impressively spoken. Hearty congratulations followed from nearly one hundred guests and these were supplemented by a sumptuous repast of four courses that was nicely served and greatly enjoyed. There were many beautiful presents of china and silver, gifts of art, etc. Noticeably among them was a highly complementary letter, containing a check for $25, from Dey Brothers, with whom Mr. Parker holds a responsible position. The employees in that establishment presented a handsome sideboard.
