- Newspaper Article - Thursday, October 7, 1880 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - The marriage of Miss Jessie E .Maltby, daughter of Mr. Hiram Maltby, of this village, occurred on Thursday of last week. The happy, fortunate groom was Mr. William Greene, a gentleman who is engaged in a prosperous business in Cincinnati, Ohio. Miss Jessie, the fair and beautiful bride, has very many friends here who will regret her permanent departure from Pulaski society. But these things must be, men and maidens are ever marrying, and given in marriage, and in the present case the future prospects of Mr. and Mrs. Greene gift promised of much happiness in store for them. A reception will be given by the young bride and groom at the residence, Kirby Place, Cincinnati, on the 11th inst.
