Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 7, 1936 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Miss Marie Valliere, 77, Dies at Bridge Street Home ¬Miss Marie Valliere, 77, died at her home on Bridge street, Wednesday morning, September 30, after an illness of more than a year. Miss Valliere's family name was Donovan, but she adopted the name by which she has been known for many years in the conduct of a millinery business in New York City years ago. She has made her home in this village with her sister, Mrs. William Gage, for nearly two years. She was born in Canada in 1859. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gage of this village, and Mrs. Charles E. Kent of Sandy Creek, and one brother, John Donovan of Richland. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon in St. James Episcopal church, the Rev. Robert C. Dunn officiating. Burial in Richland.
