      Richard H. Norcross, 61, Malone, died Feb. 1 at East Pasco Medical Center, Zephyrhills, Fla.

      Mr. Norcross worked for 33 years at Aluminum Company of America, Massena, retiring in 1999.

      Born Feb. 26, 1940, in Malone, son of Clarence and Leona Gareau Norcross, he graduated from Franklin Academy in 1959 and served in the National Guard for 18 years.

      A marriage to Lynda Santy ended in divorce. His second wife, the former Florence Weller, died in 1983. He married Carol Reome on Jan. 5, 1985.

      He enjoyed sports and music and was one of the founders of the Minuteman youth basketball league in Malone.

      Surviving besides his wife are a son and his wife, Richard Scott and Dawn Norcross, Malone; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Studlack, Moira, and Vickie Ellis and Lori and Thomas Arnold, all of Malone; a stepdaughter, Pamela Stickles, Malone; three stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, Michael and Cynthia Ware, Roger Weller and Richard Weller, addresses unavailable; a brother, Clarence, Malone; a sister, Lenore Wagner, Cypress, Calif., and 14 grandchildren.

      A brother, James, died before him.

      A spring graveside service will be held in Malone.

      There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Whitfield Funeral Home, Zephyrhills.
