Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 8, 1964 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Last Rites for W. F. Cobb of Richland - Last rites for William F. Cobb, 59, of the Ridge Road, Richland, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home. The Rev. Nelson Reppert, pastor of the Richland Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. Mr. Cobb died Friday at his home following a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rena Riley Cobb, a teacher in the Richland branch of the Pulaski Central School system; two brothers, Warren of Central Square, and Walter of Lacona, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cobb was born May 1, 1905, at Richland, a son of John and Mary Tillapaugh Cobb. He attended the district school on the Ridge Road and graduated from the Michigan State Auto School at Detroit, Michigan. Prior to his marriage he was employed as a mechanic in the service department of the Franklin Chevrolet, Inc., in Pulaski. He was married to Miss Rena Margaret Riley of Richland on August 18, 1929, in a ceremony at the Richland Methodist Church by the late Rev. Charles Shumway. After their marriage the couple lived at Pulaski for a short time, later moving to their home on the Ridge Road. He was a retired self-employed contractor and fanner. He was a member of the Richland Methodist Church, a 25-year member of Pulaski Lodge 648, I.O.O.F., the Farm Bureau, president of the Richland Cemetery Association, a member of the National Rifle Association and the Pulaski Rod and Gun Club.
