      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 6, 1966 Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - Pulaski - Services for Purley J. Bentley, 74, 903 Summit Avenue, Bronx, who died Monday in New York City, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral Home, 7643 Jefferson Street, Pulaski. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Mr. Bentley was a former resident of Pulaski and made his home in New York City for many years. He was a veteran of World War I and a former teacher. Surviving are his wife, Mary H. Bentley of New York City, and two nieces. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Masonic service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
