    • Donald L. Cornell, 58, of 7676 North Street, Pulaski, was pronounced dead on arrival at Oswego Hospital Thursday, July 18, 1985.

      Born Feb. 8, 1927 in Scranton, Pa., he later moved with his family to Stamford. He graduated from Stamford Central School in 1944 and was married to Doris I. Hayner in 1946. Mr. Cornell served in the U.S. Army in World War II and later in the Korean War. He was employed at Agway Inc. for 35 years.

      Residing in Pulaski for the past 30 years, he was a member of Park United Methodist Church, the Pulaski Ringgold Fare Company, and the Pulaski Grange. He also was a member and dispatcher for Northern Oswego County Ambulance, one of the founding members of the Pulaski Library Board, and an active members of the Pulaski Little League and Minor League. He was also a member of the Pulaski Service Dub and was active in the Pulaski Men's Bowling and Golf Leagues.

      Surviving are his wife, Doris; one son, Thomas R. Cornell of Pulaski; two daughters; Mrs. Pamela. L. Graham of Pulaski and Mrs, Lynn C. Forbes of Albany; one sister, Virginia Drebetko of North Blenheim; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Joanne Cox-Smith, officiating. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours were Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

      Donations may be made to the Oswego County Chapter of the American Heart Association or Northern Oswego County
      Ambulance.
