      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 27, 1996 The Post-Standard -- Syracuse, New York - Pearl M. Willis, 86, of Willis Drive died Tuesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego, after a brief illness. A native of West Monroe, Mrs. Willis had lived in Parish for many years. She formerly was employed with General Electric Company, Liverpool, and with Houghton's Hatchery. Her husband, Theodore, died in 1963. Surviving are a son, William H. of West Monroe; four daughters, Alice Ells of Pulaski and Mary Owen, Loretta Graham and Marion Shortslef, all of Parish; a sister, Jennie Eaton of Cortland; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harter Funeral Home, Parish, the Rev. Donald Wiltse officiating. Burial will be in Willis Cemetery, Richland. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7430 W. Main St. Contributions may be made to Loretto Heights Nursing Home.
