      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 24, 1926 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Sanford Barclay, Sr., aged 38, died Monday in the early morning at his home on the town line road, near Daysville, after only a week of illness. He was born in Sandy Creek, December 15, 1887. He was son of John and Alice Carl Barclay. He was an industrious faisier and had a large circle of friends. He was a good husband and father and esteemed neighbor. He was a member of Fernwood Grange. He is survived by his wife, Arlie Barclay, one son, Sanford, Jr., three daughters, Alice, Myrtle and Dorothy, four brothers, William, of Daysville; Robert J., of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Andrew, of Port Ontario and George, of Ellisburg. Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 o'clock, Rev. H. C. Bradshaw, pastor of Fernwood M. E. church officiating. Burial in Willis cemetery. The four brothers will act as bearers. The sympathy of the friends will go out for the stricken family so suddenly bereft of the husband and father and the brothers who have suffered a break in their circle.
