Newspaper Obituary - Monday, March 3, 1983 Banner Times - Pulaski, New York - William Wallace, 84, of Centerville Road, Pulaski, died Sunday morning, February 23, 1986 at Community-General Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness. He was bom in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Mr. Wallace worked for a railroad in Pennsylvania, and later became a farmer in Pulaski and Mexico, retiring in 1964. Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Mowers; a son, Walter of Mexico; two daughters, Audrey Jennings of Illinois and Charlotte Cronk of Liverpool; two sisters, Selinda Parkhurst of Pennellville and Brittie Cope of Auburn; three brothers, Merrill Wallis of Georgia, Samuel Wallace of Pulaski and Albert Wallace of California; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were at 3 p.m., Tuesday at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard W. Pero, pastor of Christ Church of Femwood, officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery, Richland. Calling hours were from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday at the Funeral home, 7643 Jefferson Street, Pulaski.
