      Daniel N. Taber
      The death of Daniel N. Taber occurred at his home, in the town of Conquest, Wednesday afternoon, following a long illness to Bright's desease.

      Mr. Taber was born in Perryville in 1855 and went to Oswego county to reside 42 years ago. Later he moved to Michigan and after residing there 30 years, purchased a farm in the town of Conquest in the fall of 1912. He was a member of the Conquest M.P. Church and Cato Grange and was highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends.

      The near relatives left to mourn his loss are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Lelah Castle of Corruna, Mich., Mrs. Florence Foye of Put-in-Bay, Mich., Mrs. Rose Thompson, Auburn, Mrs. Sarah Perkins, Conquest, six sons, William of Kansas City, Leon John of Auburn, Edward of Seneca Falls, Floyd of Idaho, Lawrence of Michigan, and Venus of Conquest, also a brother, Harrison Taber of Chittenango, and a half brother, James Quakenbush of Fernwood.

      The funeral will be held from the house, Monday afternoon at one o'clock, the Rev. G.S. Martin officiating and interment will be in Cato Union Hill Cemetery.

      The funeral of Daniel Taber will be held from his late residence in the town of Conquest this afternoon at 1 o'clock. The deceased was 61 years of age. He is survived by a wife and 10 children.
