      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, May 18, 1955 - Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Archie James Whaley, 83, died late Wednesday in a hospital in Lyons, New York, following a long illness. He was born on November 13, 1871, in the Town of Albion, the son of Martin and Helen Myers Whaley. His early life was spent in that vicinity and he later moved to Williamson, where he resided for about 30 years. He was employed as a laborer. There are no immediate survivors, but several nephews and nieces in the Richland area. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of a nephew, Orley Whaley, Richland, with the Rev. Wesley Baker, pastor of Richland Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Richland cemetery.
