Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 22, 1916 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Abbie Bull Samson, was born in the town of Richland, April 30, 1836, and peacefully passed away at her home on corner of Bridge and Niagara streets Monday morning about 1 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Samson had not been well for several years but was able to be around the house. She was one of a family of thirteen children. Her father, Daniel Ingersoll and mother Elizabeth Filkins were one of the first families that moved here by ox team from Camden and settled in Lehigh District. She married Benjamin Bull, January 1, 1863, who was killed at Lacona station, September 7, 1878 by the cars. She married Deveraux Samson, August 7, 1881, who was a civil war veteran and was in Libby prison but escaped being killed, and who died at Limerick, Jefferson County several years ago. She is survived by one son, Robert Bull and a sister, Mrs. Katie Ingersoll and a brother, Albert Ingersoll all of Pulaski. The funeral will be held at the home Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial at Riverside cemetery.
