    • Newspaper Obituary - February 4, 1991 Post Standard - Services for Shaun E. Broadhurst, 12, who died Saturday at University Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Summerville Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 8192 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek. Born in Watertown, he had been a resident of the Syracuse Developmental Center since May 1987. He was afflicted with cerebral palsy. Surviving are his parents, John and Tammy Martin Broadhurst of Sandy Creek; two sisters, Amy and Carrie Broadhurst, both of Sandy Creek; a brother, Ryan of Sandy Creek; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Beulah Martin of Pulaski; his paternal grandparents, Merwin and Judy Broadhurst of Sandy Creek; his great-grandmother, Muriel McKinley of Watertown; his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Crawford of Baldwinsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

      Newspaper Obituary - February 5, 1991 Watertown Daily Times - C.P. PATIENT SHAUN E. BROADHURST, 12, DIES - Shaun E. Broadhurst, 12, son of John and Tammy Broadhurst, 9138 S. Main St., died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday at the State University Health Science Center, Syracuse, where he had been a patient since Jan. 30. He had been ill with cerebral palsy. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Summerville Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Fogleman, pastor of Richland Church of Christ, officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving besides parents are a brother, Ryan, and two sisters, Amy and Carrie, all at home; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Beulah Martin, Pulaski; his paternal grandparents, Merwin and Judy Broadhurst, Sandy Creek; a great-grandmother, Muriel McKinley, Watertown; his great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Crawford, Baldwinsville, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Born in Watertown on Dec. 13, 1978, a son of John and Tammy Martin Broadhurst, he had been a resident of Syracuse Developmental Center since May 19, 1987.
