Newspaper Article - Wednesday, June 29, 1898 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Bonney-Ryther - Last Wednesday afternoon at half-past four, appeared the marriage of Mr. Addison Bonney, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bonney, and Miss Grace A. Ryther, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Ryther, at the home of the bride's parents in the Lamb district. About sixty guests were present. The pleasant farm home was beautifully trimmed with flowers and ferns and everything needed to make the home a fit place for the festivities of a wedding were supplied. The bride and groom, with the best men, Mr. Frank Bonney and Mr. John Salladin, and the bride's grooms, Miss Lena Rima and Miss Etta Pride, marched to the parlor, to the strains of a wedding march played by Mrs. R. E. Thompson, where they were met by Rev. D. J. Bailey, who performed the ceremony. The bride, a beautiful brunette, was attired in a white wedding gown and wore white flowers. After the ceremony a bountiful wedding supper was served and Mr. and Mrs. Bonney drove to Richland, taking with them rice and good wishes which the guests had ready for bestowal. They are spending their wedding absence at the Thousand Islands. Besides the neighbors and many friends from Pulaski were present, also Mrs. Sophia Lewis, grandmother of the groom, from Munnsville, New York. Of the wedding presents we can say numerous and of most useful kind. As the bride threw her bouquet all were anxious to see whose head it would fall upon. Miss Cora Box was the young lady who brought away the floral prize.
