    • With great sadness, family and friends share the passing of Joseph M. Valley, age 50, of Syracuse, formerly of Pulaski and Constantia on September 29, 2007. He left us to contemplate, mourn, and celebrate the impact he had on our lives. He was born January 20, 1957 in Oswego, the son of Norm and Kay Stoffle Valley. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1975. He was employed by Bristol Meyers Squibb as a Stationary Engineer for the past 10 years. He was formerly a Union Iron Worker and was also an Energy Auditor for Johnson Controls, Inc. and D.M.C. Joe was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Pulaski, Oswego County Comets Motorcycle Club and Friend of Vicious Circle Motorcycle Club. Joe's mission on earth was to brighten the day by sharing his love of motorcycles, music, storytelling, traveling and antique collecting. Surviving: a daughter Cassidy Valley, of Syracuse; his father Norm Valley, of Pulaski; one brother Paul (Carla) Valley, of Aurora, OH; two grandchildren, Robyn Valley and Damean Deats, of Syracuse; one niece, Ava Julia Valley, of Aurora, OH. He was predeceased by his mother Kay Valley on November 13, 1991. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Our Light Parish, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski. Donation can be made to Paul Valley in c/o Norm Valley, 87 Lewis Street, Apt. A, Pulaski, NY 13142 for the grandchildren, Damean and Robyn Valley.

      The funeral for Joseph M. Valley, 50, Syracuse, formerly of Pulaski, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Our Light parish. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Mr. Valley died Saturday night when the motorcycle he was driving on Route 49 in Constantia was struck by a car driven by an alleged drunken driver.

      Calling hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St.

      He had been employed as a stationary engineer by Bristol-Myers Squibb, Syracuse, for the past 10 years. He was formerly a union ironworker and was an energy auditor for Johnson Controls Inc. and Honeywell DMC.

      He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Pulaski, Oswego County Comets Motorcycle Club and Friend of Vicious Circle Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed motorcycles, music, storytelling, traveling and antiques collecting.

      Born Jan. 20, 1957, in Oswego, son of Norman W. and Kathryn Stoffle Valley, he graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1975.

      Surviving are a daughter, Cassidy Valley, Syracuse; his father, of Pulaski; a brother and his wife, Paul and Carla, Aurora, Ohio, two grandchildren and a niece.

      His mother died Nov. 13, 1991.
