July 30, 2008 Jerry L. "Jay" Jones Jr., 39, life resident of the Pulaski-Mexico area, died Wednesday at University Hospital in Syracuse. He was born November 18, 1968, in Syracuse and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1986. Jay was employed in construction for many years, most recently by Ron Newcomb Construction Co. for the past two years. He attended Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski. Surviving: one daughter, Jade Jones of Mexico; one son, Jacob Sherm of Henderson; his father, Jerry L. Jones of Pulaski; his mother, Rita E. Alletzhauser of Manlius; two sisters, Arleen (Randall) Newcomb of Pulaski and Karen (Mark) Bisha of West Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Donations can be made to Park United Methodist Church, Hubble Street, Pulaski, NY 13142.
