- Newspaper Obituary - Monday, March 25, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Frances F. Rozonkiewiecz Dies At Age Of 91 - Frances F. Rozonkiewiecz, 91, Port Ontario, formerly of Parish and Pulaski, died Sunday in Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, Richland, later this spring. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Ringgold Volunteer Fire Department or Northern Oswego County Ambulance. Surviving are three sons, Walter Woolson, Dephi Falls, Rex Woolson, Orwell, and Frank Rozonkiewiecz, Camden; two daughters, Wilma Currier, Mattydale, and Arlene Bachar, Pulaski; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great¬grandchildren; a brother, Clair Mowers, Fonda; two sisters, Edith Green, Eugene, Ore., and Hilda Sweeney, Aitmar, and several nephews and nieces. A daughter, Harriet Carlton, died before her. Born July 9, 1904, in Parish, a daughter of Burton and Flora Shattuck Mowers, she attended Happy Valley School, Parish. She married William Rozonkiewiecz on March 7, 1936. He died September 2, 1985. Mr. and Mrs. Rozonkiewiecz owned and operated a dairy farm from 1936 to 1966.
