      George H. Waggoner passed away
at his home on East Main Street,
Monday evening March 26. He was
born in Germany, February 21, 1849
and came to America with his parents
the late George and Anna (Sayers)
Waggoner, when a small child. He !
was a mason by trade and was one
of the most industrious men of the i
town;'when not working at his thrade I
he was engaged in the study and cul-
ture of fruit and vegetables, many
      | years producing more in value from
his garden spot, than other men
raised on small farms. Few, if any
in town, were better versed than he
in the Bible; having during the past
1 forty years made it a constant study.
Mr. "Waggoner was twice married, his
first wife died November 16, 1916.

ston and one sister, Mrs. Charles
      Hilton, of Orwell. His funeral
service was conducted by his brother!
in the faith, Mr. Rice, pastor of an
      Adventist church in Syracuse. His;
well chosen words and passages of
scripture were conceded by all as
very fitting for* the occassion. Burial
      was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
