    • Newspaper Article - Thursday May 29, 1884 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Redfield - Married, at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. John Wilson and Miss Alice Petrie, both of Redfield. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. C. E. Persons on Wednesday evening, May 21st, and a large number of friends and relatives were present. After the marriage service a bountiful repast was served, and the Redfield cornet band with Dr. E. Tonkin as leader, played several very fine selections. The serenade was a genuine surprise, and the band boys were invited in to partake of some refreshments. The entire affair was pronounced a signal success. We are happy to learn that the newly married are going to locate in this village. Mr. Wilson, the Rome, had purchased a nice house and lot before he caught the bird. All wish them much joy and a long life.
