- Newspaper Obituary - February 26, 2006 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Francis J. Corcoran, Worked for Dairylea - Francis J. Corcoran, 71, Sloperville Road, died Friday at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Corcoran was employed by Dairylea in Syracuse for 20 years, retiring in 1999. Born March 19, 1934, in Rome, son of Spencer and Catherine Walters Corcoran, he graduated in 1952 from Camden High School. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 and in the Marine Reserves from 1955 to 1957. He married Isabelle J. Stenson, a native of Pulaski, on April 12, 1958, at St. John's Catholic Church, North Bay. She died January 16, 2001. Mr. Corcoran had resided in Altmar since 1983 and previously lived for many years in Cleveland. Surviving are a son and his wife, Paul and Sherry, Pulaski; his companion, Beverly Rossman, Pulaski; two brothers, Gene, Monroe, North Carolina, and Edward, Sherrill, and six grandchildren. Two sons died before him, Patrick on May 11, 1990, and Timothy on June 23. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Sean P. O'Brien officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Defiance Fire Department.
