Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 26, 1992 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - H. Bing Gibbs, 68, Of Pulaski, Dies - H. Bing Gibbs, 68, of 7480 Glen Avenue, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be at 11 am. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. James Tschudy, pastor of the Pulaski Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours were scheduled for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Oswego County Hospice. Surviving are his wife, Regina; five sons, George C., West Monroe, Gordon M., Snellville, Georgia, Clark O. and Andrew S., both of Pulaski, and Mitchell L., Lacona; a daughter, Annette Pratt, Pulaski; 19 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; his mother, Ethel A. Gibbs, Mexico; a brother, Ronald, Pulaski, and three sisters, Vada Watson, Mexico, Grace Soule, Pulaski, and Darlene Taylor, Ellisburg. Born March 1, 1924, in the town of Henderson, son of Clark and Ethel Phillips Gibbs, he was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and had lived in Pulaski since 1947. He married Regina M. Twiss February 4, 1947, in Watertown. Mr. Gibbs was formerly employed by Corse Press, Sandy Creek, and by Brown Newspapers, Baldwinsville.
