- Newspaper Obituary - October 23, 1998 Watertown Daily Times - MICHAEL K. LAWTON TRUCK DRIVER - Michael K. Lawton, 44, Box Street, died Wednesday at State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse, from complications of a stroke. Mr. Lawton was a truck driver. Born Aug. 15, 1954, in Watertown, a son of Elden and Kathryn O'Connell Lawton, he was a 1972 graduate of Pulaski High School. He worked for Northern Concrete, Fulton, for two years, and for Schoeller Technical Papers, Pulaski, for 20 years. Mr. Lawton was a member of Robert Edwards Post 358, Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by a son, Michael J., Pulaski; his mother, Pulaski; two sisters, Patricia Spicer, Selbyville, Del., and Linda Jukes, Jacksonville, Fla., and a brother, Timothy J., Pulaski. The funeral will be private. Calling hours are 7 to 9 today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Donations may be made to United Friends of Homeless Animals, Jefferson Street, Pulaski, N.Y. 13142.
