Newspaper Article - Wednesday, July 4, 1900 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - The wedding of Miss Jessie Weed and Victor Waggoner took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Weed, Wednesday, June 27, at 4 p.m. The guests, who numbered about thirty, were for the most part relatives of the bride and groom. The house was tastily decorated for the occasion, and a corner of the parlor was convened into a veritable floral bower, surmounted by a beautiful arch of syringas and roses. To the strains of the wedding march the contracting parties, accompanied by Mr. Robert Pratt and Miss Cora Lattimer, took their places beneath this arch, where Rev. W. H. Seed, in an impressive ceremony, made them one. The bride was becomingly arrayed in a gown of white organdie over green and carried white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Lattimer, wore cream colored organdie over pink, and carried pink roses. After the congratulations, the company sat down to a bountiful supper, served in excellent taste by young ladies. The bride and groom left on the evening train for the Thousand Islands, where the honeymoon will he spent. The young people are great favorites in the town, and were the recipients of many gifts as token of the esteem in which they are held. They will make their home for the present with the bride's parents.

Surviving is one stepdaughter, Jean M. Johnson of Orwell. Funeral services are private at the convenience of family. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
