Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 11, 1928 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Forest G. Flagg Dies After Long Illness - Death claimed, last Sunday morning, DeForest Flagg, 30, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Flagg, Rome street, following an illness that has incapacitated him for the past eight years. Mr. Flagg was born in this village October 4th, 1897. He grew up here and was educated in the local schools. After leaving school he learned the machinist trade. He was at work at his trade in Syracuse when he was stricken about eight years ago with the strange malady, sleeping sickness. This developed into creeping paralysis finally causing death. He was married June 10th, 1918 to Miss Thelma Storm of Camden. To them was born one son, Glenn, now 8 years of age. He was a member of the Methodist church of this village, Camden Lodge L O. O. F. and Pulaski Encampment. The deceased is survived by his widow and one son, his parents and three brothers, Ray C. Flagg, Brewerton; Earl V. Flagg of Oswego; Lester A. Flagg, Syracuse and two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Stanley and Miss Pearl Flagg of Pulaski. The funeral will be held from the family home, Rome Street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. Albert E. Lawrence will officiate. The remains will be buried in Riverside cemetery.
