    Notes
    • Newspaper Article - Wednesday, March 28, 1900 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Wedding at Richland - The social event of the season was the marriage of Mr. Foster A. Thomas, of Orwell, and Miss Anna, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cobb, of Richland. The event took place at the pleasant home of Mr. Mrs. Cobb, March 21. The home was tastefully decorated for the occasion and was literally thronged with happy guests. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. H. Bentley, of Spring Lake, New York, an uncle of the bride. Mr. John W. Cobb was best man, and Miss Belle Thomas was maid of honor. At 3:30 p.m., the party entered to the strains of the wedding march rendered by Miss Pearl Thomas. The bride was attired in cadet blue and carried white carnations. The maid of honor wore white and canied pink carnations. About seventy guests were served at the sumptuous dinner which all enjoyed. Among the decorative and useful presents we noticed many that were both beautiful and valuable. If presents are an index of affection the happy couple are to be congratulated on this score. Amid the customary shower of rice they left on the 8 p.m. train for Syracuse.
