- Newspaper Obituary - July 31, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - LUCY KRUMENACKER LIFE RESIDENT OF ORWELL - Lucy M. Sanderson Krumenacker, 80, County Route 2, died Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Krumenacker, a life resident of Orwell, retired in 1987 as a cook after 12 years with Orwell Elementary School. She previously worked for General Electric Co., Syracuse, for 11 years. She was a member of Orwell Union Church and its Dallas Class, a past noble grand of Silver Crest Rebekah Lodge, Mexico, and a member of Pulaski Grange, the Pulaski Senior Bowling League and the Tuesday Morning Women's Golf League at Lakeview Golf Course, Mannsville. Born July 25, 1916, at Orwell, daughter of John W. and Pearl Colvin Potter, she was a 1933 graduate of Pulaski Academy High School. She married Frank Earl Sanderson Jr. on Nov. 8, 1933, at the Richland Methodist Episcopal Church parsonage with the Rev. Harold H. Barnard officiating. Mr. Sanderson, former town of Orwell assessor, died Nov. 20, 1933. She married Frank Krumenacker, a retired carpenter, Oct. 14, 1978. He died Sept. 20, 1983. Surviving are three sons, Frank E. Sanderson, Pillar Point, James E. Sanderson, Calabash, N.C., and Larry G. Sanderson, Volney; two daughters, Judy E. Daugherty, Orwell, and Cindy L. Nicholson, Breckenridge, Colo., 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Orwell Union Church.
