- Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Richard F. Mandigo passed away January 30, 2010 at Lake View Terrace in Altoona, Florida. He was born July 13, 1916; son of Frank Mandigo and Eva Stewart Mandigo of Pulaski, N.Y. Richard Mandigo graduated from Pulaski High School in 1931 and received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science from Cornell University in 1938. After graduation from Cornell University he was employed as a Herdsman in Rochester, NY and as an acting 4H Agent in Jefferson County, NY. In 1940 he married Barbara Belle Keeney and returned to Pulaski, NY to own and operate the Stewart family farm (since 1876). He was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church, a sixty nine year member of the Pulaski Grange, Past President of the Farm Bureau, Past President of the Oswego County Cooperative Extension Executive Committee, Life Member of the Pulaski Historical Society, and served on the Board of Directors of Spring Brook Apartments, Inc. Richard Mandigo retired from farming in 1973. From 1973 until 1986, Richard & Barbara Mandigo traveled extensively; visiting cities, friends, and historical sites in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the South Pacific. From 1986 until 2001, Richard & Barbara Mandigo spent winters in Umatilla, Florida and summers in Pulaski, NY. From 2001 to 2010, Richard & Barbara Mandigo lived at Lake View Terrace in Altoona, Florida. Barbara Mandigo continues to reside at Lake View Terrace. Richard Mandigo is survived by his wife Barbara Mandigo and his five sons; Paul D. Mandigo (Elgin, IL), Theodore R. Mandigo (Elmhurst, IL), Frank N. Mandigo (North Branford, CT), Charles E. Mandigo (Seattle, WA), and Daniel S. Mandigo (Pulaski, NY), twelve grandchildren; Katie Mandigo Madison (Paul), Jon Mandigo (Paul), Ric Mandigo (Theodore), Karin Mandigo (Theodore), Josh Mandigo (Theodore), Jennifer Mandigo Brennan (Frank), Christopher Mandigo (Frank), Caela Mandigo (Charles), Ryley Mandigo (Charles), Kristy Mandigo Kinkor (Daniel), Danielle Mandigo (Daniel), and John Mandigo (Daniel), and by four great grandchildren; Madeleine Brennan (Frank), Lillian Bea Brennan (Frank), Alexander Kinkor (Daniel), and Benjamin Mandigo (Frank). Funeral Services were held in Florida.
