    • Newspaper Obituary - August 12, 1925 Pulaski Democrat - Death Claims Pulaski Young Man - As the sun began to rise in the east, Thursday, Aug. 6th, the summons came to Mr. Claude E. Littler to lay down the burdens of this life and come up higher to enter into the rest that is prepared for those who love and serve our God. Mr. Littler had been in poor health for two years and about two weeks ago he grew worse and was taken to Syracuse General Hospital, where he failed fast until the end came Aug. 6. The body was brought here by Paul K. Foster, undertaker. Mr. Littler was born August 21, 1893 at Westdale, Oneida, Co. He had been a resident of this village about 10 years. He had for a long time been employed at Chas. Tollner Son's Company. Mr. Littler was a member of the First M. E. church. Surviving besides his widow, who was Miss Bessie Harmon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Harmon of Delano St., are four sons, and two daughters, Robert, Harmon, Gordon and Gerald Littler and Marguerite and Elizabeth Littler, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Littler of Pulaski, two brothers, Ray of McConnellsville and Harold of Buffalo. Rev. E. H. Scott, pastor of the M. E. church, conducted the funeral at the home of his parents, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial in Pulaski cemetery. Relatives and friends who were present from out of town were: Mrs. E. N. Hammond of Buffalo, Mr. Ray Littler of McConnelsville, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Littler of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harmon of Syracuse, Mr. E. E. Barber of Ilion, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Littler, Mr. and Mrs. George Munch of Utica. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hutchins of Watertown, Mr. Elmer Walker of Camden, Mrs. Will Chandler of Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hutchins and son, Ward of Albion.
