  Notes	Newspaper Article - Saturday January 23, 1960 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - James LaVeck Of Pulaski Weds German Fraulein - Pulaski - Miss Ingerd Schumacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Imhof, Mainz, Germany, became the bride of James W. LaVeck, son of Mrs. Rhea W. LaVeck, this afternoon at 2 in St. John the Evangelist Church. The Rev. Edward Knight, assistant pastor, performed the double ring ceremony. Fred Fox was at the organ and Miss Maureen Fox was vocalist. The bride was given in marriage by Commander Tracy H. Wilder, Jr., Chatham, uncle of the bridegroom. The bride wore a gown of white lace over satin floor length in a _ style. Her headpiece was a crown of lace and pearls, from which a fingertip veil fell. She carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations. Mrs. David LaVeck, Syracuse, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Her gown was of red lace with a matching headpiece and she carried an arm bouquet of white carnations. Little Linda Wilder, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl, she wore a pink nylon dotted Swiss dress with a matching headpiece. She carried a colonial basket in pink and white flowers. David E. LaVeck, Syracuse, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Robert Wilder, uncle of the bridegroom, and Steven LaVeck, brother of the bridegroom. A reception for relatives and friends was held immediately following the ceremony at the home of the grandparents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Wilder, North Street. For her son's wedding, Mrs. LaVeck chose a gown of print taffeta in blue and violet _ with a violet hat and a white carnation corsage. The young couple will make their home at 111 North Jefferson Street, Pulaski. The bride was employed as _ in Mainz, Germany, prior to coming to this country January 6. Mr. LaVeck is a graduate of Pulaski Central School and attended Oswego State College of Education. He has been with the United States Army and served in Germany. He received his honorable discharge at Fort Dix on December 23.
