- Mrs. Nettie L. Wheeler, 85, Wheeler Drive, Altmar, widow of Richard Justice of the Peace, Charles E. Wheeler, died Sunday afternoon, October 8, 1978 at the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown.
She was born Feb. 7, 1893, in the Town of Orwell, a daughter of William and Libbie Woolson Wafful. She attended Orwell District schools. She married Altmer farmer Charles E. Wheeler on Aug. 20, 1913. He died July 2, 1960 at the age of 72.
Mrs, Wheeler is survived by two sons, Kenneth C., Williamstown, and Charles M., Altmar; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Libbie) Allen, Williamstown, Mrs. Richard (Laura Mae) Skellinton, Williamstown, and Mr s. Robert (Edith) Wilcox, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a greatgreat-grandson, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Wiley, East Syracuse.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at FosterHax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with Rev. John R. Gillette and Rev. Adelbert Edward officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
