    • Newspaper Obituary - February 18, 2008 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, N.Y. - Joseph A. "Pa" Saucier, 76, of Osceola and Richland, died Sunday at the home of his daughter. Born August 16, 1931, in New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of Alcime and Elizabeth Soucy Saucier. He attended schools in Canada and married Barbara Harrington Saucier on October 3, 1959; she died February 27, 1995. He was employed by Oswego County Highway Dept. for 21 years, retiring in 1994. He also worked in construction for several years. He was a member of the Richland Fire Dept. for the past 38 years. Surviving: one daughter, Suzanne Saucier of Pulaski; four sons, Joseph A. Jr. of Williamstown, Steven A. (Lori) of Central Square, Daniel G. (Debra) of Pulaski and Ronald F. (Dawn) of Ogdensburg; one sister, Lee Barry of Pompano Beach, FL; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with spring burial in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
